Marie qualified as a nurse in Salisbury in 1985 and worked in general surgical, spinal injuries, and gynaecology. She then went on to qualify as a Midwife in 1989 and in 1991 went to Australia to work as a Nurse and Midwife in a private hospital.
She worked as a Midwife for 27 years and then joined Veincentre as a bank nurse and enjoyed it so much, that she is now the lead nurse in Veincentre Oxford working alongside four consultants.
In her spare time, Marie enjoys swimming and dance classes in tap, Zumba, salsa, and Ceroc.
