Hazel qualified as an Enrolled Nurse in 1985 and then as a Staff Nurse in 2002 at Northumbria University.
She has almost 40 years of nursing experience predominantly in Special Care Baby Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care. She has also worked as bank nurse in general outpatients. She took her semi retirement from her ward sister role and has returned as a staff nurse in the same department.
Hazel loves spending her spare time with her family and grandchildren along with socialising and holidaying with friends.
