Nadeem Mughal is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, where he has worked since 2021. He trained at the University of Leeds before completing basic surgical training in Yorkshire. Prior to moving to the East of England for higher surgical training he studied for an MD at the University of Leeds and was awarded a Surgeon Scientist Award from the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland. After completing his training, he undertook a 15 month long endovascular fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia. He has an interest in both open and endovascular lower limb revascularisation as well as management of diabetic foot disease. He performs minimally invasive endovenous procedures for varicose veins in his NHS practice most weeks. Outside of work he enjoys playing cricket, skiing and travelling.
