Dr Tsiakkis is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist based at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesborough.
He studied medicine at the University of Birmingham during which time he also undertook a BSc(Hons) in pathology at the University of Manchester.
He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2019. He is a member of the British Society of Interventional Radiologists and also a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe.
In 2022 he also successfully undertook the examination of European Board of Interventional Radiology which is an extra examination evaluating Interventional Radiologists on their clinical and technical knowledge.
Dr Tsiakkis is known for his compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring each individual receives personal attention and the highest quality treatment available.
His daily practice involves a wide range or minimally invasive procedures but also diagnostic work.
Outside work he enjoys the outdoors, running, travelling, and also spending time with his family.
