Mr Al-Jundi strives for excellence when managing patients by working closely with them to provide up to date and high standards of clinical care.
He has a busy NHS practice that involves emergency and elective management of the complete range of vascular disease including aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, and varicose veins. His special interests include performing advanced endovascular procedures for aortic aneurysms, diagnosing and treating thoracic outlet syndrome and performing endovenous procedures for varicose veins. Within his private practice, he manages the full range of venous disease and offers pinhole radiofrequency and laser ablation procedures, foam sclerotherapy, microavulsions and microsclerotherapy.
Mr Al-Jundi has completed his extensive surgical training in South Yorkshire prior to undertaking fellowships in minimally invasive vascular procedures at national and international centres of excellence, namely, Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and the University of Toronto Hospitals in Canada. Alongside his clinical training, he was awarded Master of Science from Cardiff University in 2011, Master of Education from the University of Sheffield in 2017 and received an MBA with Distinction from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in 2020. Mr Al-Jundi is also a senior clinical lecturer and instructor at UEA as he assists in delivering the Master of Clinical Education programme, the MBBS programme and supports nurses’ education. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 publications in scientific journals and postgraduate books. He developed a special interest in technology and education, published and presented his work at national and international levels in Europe and Canada.
He has always enjoyed football and plays on a weekly basis. Mr Al-Jundi also enjoys cycling, kickboxing, bodybuilding, and cross fit, whilst his greatest joy in life remains to spend time and travel with his small family (wife, son and daughter).
