Will laser treatment help my leg scars?

We would need to see you for a consultation where a colour duplex ultrasound scan of your legs would be undertaken. The scan would reveal whether your symptoms are being caused by faulty valves on the inside of your legs. If you are a woman, we would also check whether your symptoms are being caused by pelvic vein congestion due to the fact that they get worse around the time of your period (although this is unlikely). It is likely that either laser treatment or embolisation would be helpful.
