Your treatment journey for vein conditions in the legs will start with a consultation with one of our experienced consultants, where a duplex ultrasound scan will be performed to determine whether there is an underlying cause to your vein problems (varicose veins), or whether it is just cosmetic (thread veins). The consultant will then explain to you the results of the scan and talk you through a tailored treatment plan. Treatment for Varicose Veins Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) – the Gold Standard treatment used to treat the underlying condition of varicose veins Foam Sclerotherapy – mostly used as a secondary treatment following EVLA Avulsions – involve physically removing varicose veins and can be done alongside EVLA Treatment for Thread Veins (Spider Veins) Microsclerotherapy – the most effective and most common form of thread vein treatment Treatment for Face Veins (Facial Thread Veins) Your face vein treatment journey will begin with a consultation where the area will be examined with a polarised light to determine the recommended treatment. At roundabout take the first exit onto Clayton Road. Go through one roundabout. Turn right onto Clayton Lane (just before triangular blue church). At the end of the lane, turn right and then take your first left, by the “Sizzling Wok” takeaway, into Lyme Drive. As you drive round you will see Lyme Vale Court on your right and as you turn in, you will find Unit 3 at the bottom end of the building on the left-hand side. Please park in the spaces outside Unit 3. Or… A500/A34. We are located just off the A34, between Newcastle town centre and the A500. At the traffic lights (from Newcastle first past M-Club, from A500 first past Tesco), turn onto Clayton Lane, alongside the Orange Tree pub. Take the first right, by the ‘Sizzling Wok’, into Lyme Drive. As you drive round you will see Lyme Vale Court on your right and as you turn in, you will find Unit 3 at the bottom end of the building on the left-hand side. Please park in the spaces outside Unit 3. By Rail Stoke-on-Trent station is 2.5 miles away. The most reasonable and convenient route to the clinic is by taxi to Lyme Vale Court (approx. 10 minutes). Lyme Vale Court is on Lyme Drive next to The Orange Tree Pub / M-Club Gym / Bauhinia restaurant. By Air Manchester airport is the main international airport for the North of England and Birmingham airport for the Midlands. Both are within an hour’s taxi ride.
