Varicose veins are a common problem, affecting up to 1 in 3 adults in their lifetime. They are usually a sign of an underlying venous insufficiency.
Thread veins can appear anywhere on the body but are mostly evidenced on the legs and face. They are more common than varicose veins, affecting up to 80% of adults.
Leg ulcers appear as broken skin in the lower leg or feet. We have been successfully treating venous leg ulcers for over 20 years.

UK’s largest network of specialist clinics
Our Glasgow clinic recently turned 4, and what better way to acknowledge and celebrate 4 years of being in Glasgow, than with a celebration in the clinic. In true Scottish style, bagpiper Donald Mackenzie performed outside the clinic and our staff cut a tartan themed cake to mark the occasion.
The clinic is located at 234 West George Street, G2 4QY so is central and easy to get to, being less than a 10 minute walk from Glasgow Central train station. Two of our specialist consultants, Interventional Radiologists Dr Navin Mathias and Dr Susie Goodwin, hold weekly clinics on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, treating both varicose veins and thread veins.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all our patients in Glasgow for your support over the last 4 years. We are very proud of all we’ve achieved and the number of patients we’ve helped so far and look forward to continuing to help as many people as possible.
