Varicose veins are a common problem, affecting up to 1 in 3 adults in their lifetime. They are usually a sign of an underlying venous insufficiency.
Thread veins can appear anywhere on the body but are mostly evidenced on the legs and face. They are more common than varicose veins, affecting up to 80% of adults.
Leg ulcers appear as broken skin in the lower leg or feet. We have been successfully treating venous leg ulcers for over 20 years.

We are happy to say that Veincentre Sheffield is now open!
Our doors opened in December, and our clinic team have so far very much enjoyed welcoming you to the new clinic.
We are continuing on our journey to make varicose vein and thread vein treatment as accessible as we can, by ensuring there are clinics locally to as many of you as possible. Our minimally invasive procedures are now available to those of you from the surrounding areas of Sheffield, such as Rotherham, Doncaster, Chesterfield as well as all parts of the Peak District.
Our clinic is located slightly north of Sheffield city centre, and we are based at Unit 3A, Brooklyn Works, Green Lane, Sheffield, S3 8SH. There is parking on the same road as the clinic and we are only 2.2 miles away from Sheffield Train Station, which is a 10 minute drive or a 25 minute walk to the clinic.
Our lovely new clinic is situated in a great setting, among the history of Brooklyn Works, which used to be the site of a steel, saw and file manufacturer.
Veincentre Sheffield is open on alternate Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and the clinic is led by two of our specialist consultants, Dr Mark Regi, Consultant Interventional Radiologist & Training and Education Lead, and Dr Steve Goode, Consultant Interventional Radiologist. Both Dr Regi and Dr Goode have been with Veincentre for a number of years, and work in more than one of our clinics. Our consultant team is supported by our nurse and receptionist.
