I am writing to express my gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the staff involved in my care.
I attended the Manchester clinic on 6.7.18. I was immediately impressed with the calm and friendly receptionist Georgina on our arrival. I then was introduced to the lovely nurse Liz Jellyman who put me at ease straight away. The consultant that I saw was Mr D Dodd who listened to my concerns regarding the pains and colour changes I was experiencing in my left inner thigh and foot. He examined me, performed a scan and then afterwards described why I was experiencing these symptoms and the procedures available for me. I never felt the appointment was rushed in any way and all my questions were answered fully. It was a very calm and relaxing appointment in a lovely clean setting and décor.
My first procedure was planned for 31.8.18 and I was frightened, I must note I am a nurse and hate being on the ‘other side’. Both Mr Dodd and Liz were absolutely fantastic in dealing with my fears and put me at ease straight away, Georgina the receptionist must’ve recognised how frightened I was as within a few seconds of me arriving Liz was there offering her support from the onset.
My subsequent visits were nothing like the first at all. In fact, I think I was very relaxed on my last visit.
Reflecting on this experience, I wish I had come to see your team years ago. The heaviness and the pain in my thigh has totally gone which was my main complaint but I am equally pleased with the cosmetic result. I feel a different person, I hadn’t realised how much my legs were affecting my life, my moods and my wardrobe!
