Varicose veins are a common problem, affecting up to 1 in 3 adults in their lifetime. They are usually a sign of an underlying venous insufficiency.
Thread veins can appear anywhere on the body but are mostly evidenced on the legs and face. They are more common than varicose veins, affecting up to 80% of adults.
Leg ulcers appear as broken skin in the lower leg or feet. We have been successfully treating venous leg ulcers for over 20 years.

Our brand new clinic in Woking is now open!
The clinic officially opened in May and our friendly team are excited to welcome you through our doors.
We are located at 4 Links, Links Business Centre, Old Woking Road, Woking, Surrey, GU22 8BF. We are located in a close proximity to the town centre, with Woking Train Station only 1.7 miles away. There are great transport links with the M25 nearby meaning the clinic is very accessible to people from the Greater London area, as well as Guildford. Our clinic has parking on site and inside has a modern, relaxing feel to offer a calm, warm environment for our patients.
Veincentre Woking is led by Dr Previn Diwakar, Consultant Interventional Radiologist, who has many years of experience in treating varicose veins, and also works at our locations in Cardiff, Liverpool and Manchester. Completing the clinical team is our nurse and receptionist who support Dr Diwakar in providing the best patient care possible.
We pride ourselves on offering minimally invasive, walk-in, walk-out procedures to treat varicose veins and thread veins, which are the gold standard as recommended by National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. We have treated over 40,000 patients since we began back in 2003, and we are delighted to be expanding our services to Woking, making our treatments available to more people who need them.
Please call our patient advisory team for more information on our treatment journey, or to book an appointment at our Woking clinic, on 01782 753960.
