Varicose veins are a common problem, affecting up to 1 in 3 adults in their lifetime. They are usually a sign of an underlying venous insufficiency.
Thread veins can appear anywhere on the body but are mostly evidenced on the legs and face. They are more common than varicose veins, affecting up to 80% of adults.
Leg ulcers appear as broken skin in the lower leg or feet. We have been successfully treating venous leg ulcers for over 20 years.

Our clinic rollout continues, with the opening of our newest clinic in Leicester!
We opened our doors at the end of February and are delighted to have made our treatments accessible to people in the East Midlands, especially Loughborough, Melton Mowbray and Hinckley.
The clinic is located 15 minutes away from Leicester City Centre and we are located at Suite 3, New Humberstone House, 40 Thurmaston Lane, Leicester, LE5 0TE. We can be easily reached from the M1, have parking on site, and for those of you who may use public transport, Leicester Railway Station is a 13 minute drive from the clinic.
Veincentre Leicester is open on alternate Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and the clinic is led by Dr Deepak Vishwanath, Consultant Interventional Radiologist. Dr Vishwanath also works in our Gloucester clinic. The clinic team is complete with our nurse and receptionist, and the team are enjoying welcoming you to the clinic.
Our minimally invasive treatments are the gold standard, recommended by National Institute of Health and Care Excellence and we have treated over 40,000 patients since our first clinic opened back in 2003.
